Description

The W's Torrentshell 3L Rain Jkt Quiet Violet from the brand Patagonia is a technical jacket for women's, specially designed for randonnée. It offers optimal protection against the elements thanks to its 3-layerdesign, ideal for tackling wet conditions while remaining breathable.

This jacket is made from recycled ripstop ECONYL®nylon, a durable fibre derived from recycled plastic waste, thereby helping to reduce environmental impact. Its polyurethane membrane with plant-based ingredients ensures waterproofing and breathability in accordance with the standard H2No®, guaranteeing effective protection against rain and wind. The durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment without PFCs provides reinforcement for this barrier while limiting the use of harmful substances.

Practical and comfortable, this jacket features a two-point adjustable hood with a laminated, stowable visor, underarm ventilation zips for better temperature control, as well as Velcro cuffs and a drawstring at the lower for a perfect fit. The microfleece lining at the level of the collar adds an extra touch of softness.

Certified bluesign® and Fair Trade Certified™, this jacket combines technical performance with ethical commitment, ideal for hiking enthusiasts who care about their environmental impact.

H2NO® STANDARD The H2No™ compliant 2-layer outer material is fully waterproof, windproof and breathable. Designed for a wide range of activities from hiking to snowboarding, H2No™ compliant 2-layer materials use a taffeta or mesh lining rather than a laminated fabric to protect the waterproof and breathable membrane. The lining increases the ability of the garment to wick away perspiration, increasing its longevity and comfort.
BLUESIGN®
The brand provides consumers with the highest level of confidence and guarantees that products have been produced using resources responsibly and with the least possible impact on people and the environment.
ECONYL® Econyl is a 100% recycled and recyclable nylon fibre made from plastic waste collected from landfill sites and oceans, such as fishing nets and bottles. It is then ground, melted and transformed into a new fibre to create a new garment. Econyl® is a registered trademark of Aquafil.
FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED™
For Patagonia, Fair Trade Certified™™ is the first step towards fairer pay for those in the supply chain. Since they do not own any of the factories that manufacture their products, they have limited control over workers' salaries. But thanks to the Fair Trade program, they can supplement workers' wages with benefits that improve their quality of life.
