The AK 121 2027 is a freeride ski from the brand Candide designed for experienced skiers.
Its 121 mm waist, flat camber and double rockers provide maximum floatation in powder and an instant response from the ski to every movement. Additionally, the Triple-Radius Sidecut technology distributes three different turn radii along the ski. At the tip, this initiates turns quickly. With its large radius at the waist, the ski remains at 100% of its potential and stays stable. At the endpiece, it ensures powerful turn release and high-speed stability.
Constructed with a core of paulownia and poplar wood sandwiched between layers of fibreglass and carbon, this ski offers greater durability and lightness. This reactive core delivers exceptional pop, perfect for jumping over piste markers. Furthermore, the Dual Mounting Points allow for two mounting positions: the personal Candide mounting point and a “Regular” mounting point suitable for most skiers and terrains.
The wood used is sourced from responsibly managed FSC forests, a good way to reduce environmental impact.
Therefore, the AK 121 2027 is ideal for experienced riders who enjoy venturing off beaten tracks to conquer untouched powder fields.

WARNING: the Candide skis offer 2 types of mounting, a Regular and one recommended by Candide. By default, the skis will be mounted in regular; if you want a Candide mounting, please specify it in the mounting information.

There are three different curve radii on the ski (tip-base-endpiece). The tight radius at the tip allows for quick initiation of turns. A wider radius at the tail provides powerful turn release and stability at high speed. Finally, a significant radius underfoot means that no matter where you mount it, the ski will perform 100%. |
