Vibram® Litebase is an innovative technology designed to significantly reduce the weight of the sole by reducing the thickness of the rubber, whilst maintaining the layout and structure of the lugs, thereby delivering the same performance as a thicker sole. The technology Vibram® Litebase enables the sole thickness to be reduced by around 40 to 50 per cent, from 1.7 mm to 0.5 / 0.9 mm, depending on the type of sole, resulting in a weight reduction of 25 to 30 per cent. The substantial reduction in the thickness of the rubber does not compromise the sole’s grip, durability or the risk of cuts. |
